Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-03-22T14:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-03-22T14:48:00-CME-001 (version 3)
Source Location: N18E13
Active Region Number: 13614
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
KEY: Keyhole-hole shaped CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
BR: Brightening
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: A bright lightbulb-shaped CME seen north in coronagraphs. Its source could be the C8.4 class flare from AR 3614 (N18E13) peaking at 13:58Z, with associated ejecta seen originating from around N30E12 but seen deflecting much further northwest in SDO AIA and GOES SUVI 304, with the associated dimming spreading as far north as N45W05 as seen in AIA 193.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

A very uncertain analysis based on the best fit in swpc_cat with two coronagraphs. It looks like the CME deflects significantly towards the northwest. |
